Anju Blaxx granted bail and allowed to visit Jamaica

Anju-Blaxx-1-504x330[1]Dancehall producer Anju Blaxx was not only granted bail but was also given a 30-day waiver to travel to Jamaica and visit his family.
Anju Blaxx, who has worked with artists like Popcaan and Vybz Kartel, has been in the United States since February last year when he was arrested at a Florida airport and charge with lottery scam.

Blaxx has since plead not guilty to charges of mail and wire fraud. His trial date starts on May 24 which means he will be back in the U.S. before then.

ZJ Wah Wah has also been charged in the lottery scam.

Fantasia to headline concert @Emancipation Park in Jamaica… Friday March 18

fantasia-628x330[1]American Idol and Grammy Award Winner Fantasia is slated to headline a concert in Jamaica on Friday March 18.
The event, Blues on the Green will be held at Emancipation Park.

Blues on the Green is the 24th staging of the United States (U.S.) Embassy’s marquee cultural event.

It celebrates African-American History Month and the contributions of African-Americans to American society.

Individuals are being asked to bring educational or learning items, formula, or diapers to donate to the Women’s Resource and Outreach Centre.

Blues on the Green is a free concert and is set to commence at 7 p.m.
